On-board registration computer

Convenient and protected of interference device controls fuel consumption, mileage, and running hours. Onboard computer registers and provides the following information:

• fuel remaining in tanks;
• fuel consumption;
• operating hours;
• mileage.

Device registers the impulses on the four inputs, operating in counting mode. Two of the four inputs can operate in the mode of continuous measurement of the frequency square-wave signal from 200 to 2,000 Hz.

The signal amplitude – from 3V to device’s supply voltage.
Signal type – rectangular pulses with a minimum width of 2 ms.

Onboard fuel registration computer can operate in three modes:

1. Indicator mode – signals from the fuel level sensors (LLS) go to # 1 and # 2 inputs. Onboard computer’s task is to record the frequency of two inputs and to perform conversion to fuel amount according to the calibration table.
2. Counter mode – signals from the fuel flow meters (FFS) go to # 1 and # 2 inputs. Onboard computer’s task is to record the number of pulses of two inputs and to calculate the fuel amount passed through each flow sensor (according to a specified ratio).
3. Mixed mode – FFS signal goes to #1 input, LLS signal goes to # 2 input. Onboard computer’s task is to perform all operations described above: to record the number of pulses of #1 input and to calculate the fuel amount passed through the flow sensor (according to a specified ratio); and to record the frequency of #2 input and to perform conversion to fuel amount according to the calibration table.

Modes configuration is set through RS-232 Modbus protocol using special software.
Speed sensor and RPM sensor could be connected to #3 and #4 inputs respectively.
To display the results of the processed data device is equipped with an LCD display (with backlight to work in the dark).
